Cartier

The French jewellery that carries elegance, romance and style, Cartier was founded in 1847 by Louis-Francois Cartier, a jeweller in Paris.

Beginning as a jewellery workshop, the business was taken over by Cartier’s son Alfred in 1874, in which he additionally began to sell watches.

The company branched further and opened stores in London and New York City in the early 20^th Century, and has continued to produce desirable, high quality jewels. Successful collections include ‘Love’, featuring the ever so desirable Cartier Love bangles, and the iconic ‘Panthère de Cartier’, of which they have produced some striking pieces encompassing the head and body of the majestic panther.
