Céline

The eponymous French fashion house began its journey as a bespoke children's shoe emporium. In 1945, Céline Vipiana, alongside her husband Richard, inaugurated a boutique dedicated to crafting made-to-order footwear, quickly earning commendation for their distinctive style.

Transitioning from children's to women's footwear in the late 1950s to early 1960s marked a pivotal moment for the brand. Expanding their offerings to encompass accessories and a ready-to-wear sports collection, Céline's designs epitomized a new era of contemporary fashion, prioritizing functionality over extravagance.

The evolution continued with the introduction of the brand's inaugural fragrance, Vent Fou, in 1963, characterized by notes of galbanum, jasmine, and rose.

Building on success, Céline extended their repertoire to include bags, belts, and gloves in 1966. In a testament to this dedication, a production facility was established in Florence, Italy, ensuring that the brand could meet escalating demand while upholding its renowned standards of excellence.
