Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels, both hailing from families entrenched in the jewellery and gemstone trade, married in 1985. Inspired by their shared passion and love, they co-founded Van Cleef & Arpels.

Establishing their business in the prestigious Place Vendome, Paris, in 1906, the brand has since evolved into a global enterprise with boutiques spanning the globe.

Throughout the various epochs of fashion, Van Cleef & Arpels has consistently produced exceptional pieces. Notable examples include the iconic Ludo bracelet of the 1930s and the revered Alhambra necklace from the 1960s, which has since become a hallmark motif of the company.

In addition to the Alhambra collection, the brand's expert designers, utilizing exquisite gems, have created collections inspired by flora and fauna, as well as themes of emotion and sophistication, each reflecting the timeless elegance inherent in Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery.
