Condition Report
Breitling watch, movement is currently functioning, shows scratches and marks around screw heads typically indicative of past servicing the worst of which being next to the chronograph bridge screw. Movement: 17 jewel Venus calibre 178 stamped W O G
Inside case back number: 1066548. Outside case back number: 806. Case is scratched and scuffed as a result of general wear with multiple chips and dints to the sharp corners and several case knife slip marks to case back, would benefit from refinishing as many of these marks may polish out. Hirsch leather strap is not authentic and has been lightly worn, not in need of immediate replacement. Crown is authentic, pushers may or may not be original. Dial may have been sympathetically restored, luminous paint to batons appears to be a little too bright for the age and are a slightly greener tone to the paint in the hands, neon orange slide markers are also suspiciously bright for age and white subsidiary hands have been haphazardly painted. Any possible restoration work to the dial has been completed to a high standard, plastic glass is in good condition.
