A Victorian 18ct gold open face key wind pocket watch signed by B. Arnold, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals surrounded by outer minute track, subsidiary seconds to six o'clock, rose metal spade hands, plain gold case with engraved monogram to reverse hallmarked London 1875 maker George Henry Harwood of 207 St. John Street Road, Clerkenwell, fitted with a three quarter plate movement signed B. Arnold, 72 Baker Street, London, numbered 12943, with English lever escapement and fusee, free sprung hair spring, split bi-metal compensated balance, diamond end stone and train jewelled to the third wheel. Case diameter 50mm.

Condition Report
Arnold pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, may benefit from a service. Case is lightly scratched and scuffed from general use and would benefit from refinishing as marks appear superficial and may well polish out. Monogram to case back appears fairly superficial and may polish out. Dial is in good condition with two small hair line cracks one running from 6 o'clock to the subsidiary dial edge and the other running a few millimeters in from 8 o'clock. Hands have a few light marks but are in fairly good condition, plastic glass has a few light scratched but is in good condition.
