Lot Description

A small green enamelled mechanical alarm clock by unknown maker, the white enamel dial with luminous Arabic numerals, milled bezel, cube shaped case on four brass bun feet with swing handle governing the alarm start and stop, keys and knurled winders for time and alarm hand set, winding and regulation to the reverse, movement fitted with a pin pallet escapement. Case height 47mm.

Travel clock, movement and alarm are currently functioning however are dirty and may benefit from an overhaul. Case is marked from general use with numerous chips to the green lacquer showing the brass base metal below, exposed brass areas showing obvious tarnish. Luminous paint to the dial is dirty and discoloured, there is trapped dirt and debris below the glass, plastic glass has multiple scratches and would benefit from cleaning.
