ROLEX - a 9ct gold Art Deco manual wind gentleman's wrist watch, the cream dial with applied blue steel Arabic numerals surrounded by outer minute track, subsidiary seconds to six o'clock, rectangular case with chamfered integral lugs hallmarked Glasgow import 1938, fitted with a signed 15 jewel movement, fitted to an associated leather strap. Serial number 47440 dates watch to 1933, model number 2355. Case diameter 21mm.

Rolex wrist watch, mechanical wind, movement is currently functioning although the crown clicks and feels a little stiff to wind therefor watch may need further attention. Dial is stained and tarnished die to age, blue steel numerals are a little rusty and discoloured, hands appear to be in good condition and may have been replaced at some point, glass is scratched and may benefit from possibly being polished or replaced.
Case and case back have some light scratches and some dints, case appears to be in generally good condition considering the age of the watch. The serial/model number has worn away slightly from the back of the case.
Associated leatherette strap has been worn and is discoloured in places, gold plating is wearing away from the buckle.
