An early twentieth century demantoid garnet and seed pearl brooch, comprising a central floral cluster of seed pearls bordered with millegrain set demantoid garnets and further seed pearls in an open work design surmounting a swallow in flight set with seed pearls. Stamped 15ct.

Condition Report
Good condition. The split pearls are all well matched and in good condition, there is slight abrasion to the facet edges of some of the garnets. There are slight scratches to both the swallow brooch and suspended cluster. A panel has been added to the back of the swallow where the suspender loop has been added, the gold does not match in shade and a line of solder is visible.
