Lot Description
An early 20th century sapphire and diamond carved half hoop ring, comprising four circular sapphires interspaced by pairs of diamond points. With a worn Chester hallmark and also modern hallmark. Two diamonds missing.

Condition Report
Fair condition. The ring appears to be a genuine antique ring. however it has been re hallmarked at a later date. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of some of the sapphires, the diamond points are chipped, two are missing, all claws need checking as many are worn. The back of the ring shank is quite thin and the Chester hallmark is worn. Ring Size UK - R, US - 8.75.
