There is general wear in line with the age and use of the piece. This includes scratches, some small dints to the cylindrical form. The inside is quite worn from use. There are small chinks out of the base and handle. The hinge is a little loose and will not hold the lid in the correct position. There is an engraving on the lid of an arm holding an arrow, which is beginning to wear. The hallmark is situated to the right of the handle and is very worn. There is a makers mark on the inside of the lid.
