An Edwardian silver mounted glass string box by Stuart Clifford & Co., hallmarked London 1908, height measures 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm).

Box shows signs of general wear with scratches, marks, tarnishing and discolouration, the hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still legible, the glass possesses the odd light chip at its corners, the base has deformed so that the glass and silver part do not sit flush upon it and the box as a whole do not sit flat.
