George III silver vesta case, the rectangular body with reeded decoration and flush hinged lid. Hallmarks are rubbed probably William Lea & Co Birmingham 1813.

The vesta case has noticeable heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish, there are also general scratches, marks and dints. The edges surrounding the lid are a little distorted, therefore when the lid is shut the fit is not flush. As mentioned in the description the hallmarks are quite distorted.
