Condition Report
The vesta case is in fair condition commensurate with age and use, displaying scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. The hinged lid and body appear to be considerably dented and pitted, most likely caused through damage. Maker's mark and hallmark are clear and legible. The strike slide under the base of the case is built up with polish and would benefit from a clean. The rattle is also in fair condition commensurate with age and use. The silver multi faced owl is displaying scratches, marks and pitting along with some minor loss of detail most likely due to over polishing. The head is also showing evidence of tarnishing and discoloration to the whole. Maker's mark and hallmarks are rubbed but legible.
