Lot Description

Edwardian silver pin cushion modelled as a duck, hallmarked Birmingham 1906, registered number 476818. Length 3 inches (7.5cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The duck possesses signs of general wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing with the odd deeper dint. There  are some instances of polishing compound build up in the crevices but the maker's marks and hallmarks are legible.  It appears that inserts in the base and possibly eye sockets have been lost. The cushion is worn.
