The coffee pot is in a fairly good condition, some of the joins are becoming visible along the spout, handle, and main body. The lid sits flush, engraved detail is very clear. There are some light surface scratches and slight pitting to the silver in keeping with the age. There is a hallmark to the handle, lid, and bottom of the pot, all these are clear and legible. There is some wear to the ivory insulators in the handle, again in keeping with the age. One of the cartouches is personally engraved with a belt buckle style circle engraved with INCORRUPTA FIDES, enclosing an image of a bird and a tree.
