The coin displays general scratches, marks and pitting to the whole commensurate with age and use with some evidence of light tarnishing and surface discoloration. The coin retains a complete pronounced rim which has worn to the tops of some of the letters, although lettering is still readable. Evidence of deeper scratches along the the neck and hair of the bust leading to some loss of detail and blending into the surrounding field. Considerable wear on the raised surfaces, however all main devices are clear and distinct with a small amount of blending.
