A cased set of Maundy Money dated 1902 containing silver 4d, 3d, 2d and 1d. The box marked Maundy Money 1902 below a royal cypher. Also included a cutting from a newspaper undated but believed to be from the same year recounting the ceremony.

Condition Report
The money set is in good condition commensurate with age and use displaying general scratches and marks to the whole. The coins are particularly tarnished with some evidence of discoloration within the field. Coins are struck in full, with some wear and blending on the raised surfaces, but still retaining much detail with lettering and all main devices clear and legible. The fitted case, which closes securely, is in fair condition externally, with general scratches and tears to the surface along with some discoloration along resting areas, high points and around the hinges. The stamped inscription and shield on the box are clear and detailed. Internally the velvet and silk lining is in good condition showing evidence of light discoloration and marks. The newspaper cutting is in fair condition showing general ware commensurate with age.
