Condition Report
The prize medal is in good condition commensurate with age and use displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole with some notable polish build up along ridged areas. The reverse of the medal shows noticeable signs of further tarnishing and discoloration. There is evidence of some minor pitting, shallow dents and abrasions along the edge of the rim under close inspection. The engraved inscription remains clear and crisp. A numismatist has graded the medal as 'Very fine and rare' due to visibility of some wear on the raised surfaces, but still retaining much detail. Maker's mark and hallmarks are a little rubbed but clear and legible.
