Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The medal is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, displaying minor scratches, marks and tarnishing with evidence of minor pitting along the rim. Both the lettering and detailed bust are clear with some evidence of blending on reverse. A numismatist has graded the medal as 'About extremely fine' due to visibility of light surface marks and wear visible under close inspection but with all major devices distinct. The fitted case, which does not close securely, is in fair condition externally, with general scratches and tears to the surface along with some discoloration along resting areas, high points and around the hinges. Internally the velvet lining is in very good condition showing evidence of light discoloration.
