Lot Description

A pair of cased Victorian silver bowls made by Charles Stuart Harris of oval form with pierced decoration, foliate and beaded swags and floral rim. Hallmarked London 1891. Together with a pair of associated fruit spoons, hallmarked Atkin Brothers Sheffield 1897. Gross weight 10.5 ozt (329 grams).

Overall the bowls and spoons are in good condition, there are general scratches, marks and surface tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. The hallmarks positioned to the bottom of the bowls are a little rubbed but clearly legible, the hallmarks to the fruit spoons. The case shows noticeable wear and deterioration to the surface.
