A Victorian silver ornately engraved mug of baluster form, the body decorated with embossed and engraved flowers and foliage, single scrolling handle, raised above a single foot, hallmarked Birmingham 1872 maker George Unite & Sons, height 5 3/4 inches (14.5cm), weight 9.48ozt (294.9 grams).

Mug has signs of general wear commensurate with age with scratches, marks and tarnishing. The mug also possesses a  few dents. There is some slight pitting to the rim and inside of the mug. Repair work is visible to the metal near  the handle and there is some rubbing to the decoration. The maker's mark is partially obscured but the hallmarks are  legible.
