The rose bowl is in good condition commensurate with age and use showing general scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is some evidence of minor pitting and polish build up. The engraved image of a swan is clear although it is beginning to loose some detail due to over polishing. The makers mark on the base of the bowl is clear clear and legible. The grill is slightly damaged around the rim and one of the footed claws is missing, as a result it does not rest evenly in the bowl.
