Lot Description

A pair of early twentieth century silver candlesticks, the circular bases rising to shaped stems and bulbous nozzles. Hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd London 1913. Height measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm). Filled.

The candlesticks have general scratches and marks, there is heavy noticeable tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Small dints and bumps, more so around the base. The wooden inserts to the base show general wear and tear. The dish shaped sconces are loose in their position, on also being dented. The hallmarks are rubbed but clearly legible.
