A Victorian target style memorial brooch with a central split pearl and diamond set star design cluster on domed rock crystal, a border of split pearls and scroll design detail bordered with black enamel, having a vacant back photograph locket and pendant loop. Diameter - 44mm.

Condition Report
Fair condition. Unfortunately there are chips to the black enamel rim in a couple of places, the split pearls in the border are well matched, there is damage to the nacre of some. There are noticeable internal fractures to the rock crystal, the central overlaid star is loose and rotates. There are scratches and areas of serious discolouration to the back outer rim, the hinge appears to have been reattached with a further backing panel at a later date.
