An attractive mahogany cased longcase clock, the hood with arched glazed panel door enclosing a circular silvered dial with black Roman numerals enclosed by gilt metal spandrels, the eight day movement striking on a single bell, the body with tall narrow trunk door and stepped plinth base, the whole with inlaid decoration

Condition Report
The top of the hood has significant woodworm to it's plywood curved panel, the alternating band inlay is lifting in places, the glazed door opens to reveal a wooden plate around the edge of the dial, this has broken in places, been re-glued and polished, the silvered dial is heavily worn and scratched, there is a split and also cracks in the long trunk door, the front base panel is cracked and split, the case is bleached in colour
