Lot Description

A pair of late 19th Century octagonal diamond set buttons, each with the number 80 in rose cut diamonds. Believed to be made to commemorate the 80th Birthday of Kaiser Wilhelm I. in 1877, (1797 - 1888). Dimensions: 32mm x 32mm. Overall weight- 17.3 grams.

The buttons are generally in good condition. The diamonds are bright and lively. Scratches can be seen to the metal, wear and tear. The clip back fittings are in excellent working order.
