A shell cameo brooch, depicting a Bacchante with vine leaves to her hair, the mount with canetille detail and vacant back panel to reverse, safety catch attached set with a baroque pearl and green bead. Dimensions of brooch: Width - 47mm Length - 55mm. AF

Condition Report
The cameo is detailed and beautifully carved. Unfortunately, several hair line fractures can be seen to the reverse of the cameo when held up to the light. The detail to the border is in good condition. The brooch pin is a little stiff. Minor scratches and dents can be seen, general wear and tear.
