A Victorian 18ct gold snake design brooch, with a rose cut diamond set head and circular ruby set eyes. One ruby missing. Hallmarked Birmingham 1894. Length of brooch - 7.8cms. Weight - 7.71 grams.

Condition Report
The brooch is in fair condition. One of the ruby eyes is missing from the snake brooch, there is an easily visible inclusion to the rose cut diamond. There are slight scratches, dents and areas of discolouration to the gold, part of the hallmark is rubbed however the assay stamp and date letter is clear. The pin is fine and the hinge and clasp is secure.
