Condition Report
Movement is currently functioning, but would benefit from a service as the jewel holes are full of debris and the plates look filthy. Seconds stop function and up and down work both appear to be working correctly. Case is hallmarked 18ct on the inside of the caseback and the dust cover, it shows signs of general wear commensurate with age and material used with light scratches, marks and tarnishing. There is however signs of denting and pitting to the case band to 4 o'clock, in addition, the inner lips look slightly deformed with effect of the bezel not sitting flush but do appear solidly attached. The pendant bow fits well to the pendant with a positive action. The dial is slightly dirty, with minor discolouration, some very light marks only visible at certain angles underneath a loupe and some of the enamelling to the numerals is looking worn, but otherwise it appears free of cracks and splits. The hands look to be in a generally pleasing condition, but due to age are showing some marking and signs of surface rust. The glass possesses some scratching and some areas of damage to the edge.
