Lot Description
An early 20th Century Swiss Pure Nickel cased British Railways Pocket Watch (Midland Region), the white enamel dial with large black Arabic numerals, six o’clock subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, signed “Record”, the case stamped BR (M) 19113 and “Pure Nickel” to the inner cover, screw down bezel and back having knurled edges, 15 jewel swiss lever movement with blued overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 55mm.

Condition Report
The white enamel dial has several hairlines, mostly to the top half of the dial, having a chip to the very edge outside the 12 o'clock position, the blued steel hands are in good condition, having a few small surface marks, the nickel case has general wear and tear throughout, the knurled edges have surface wear, with a small ding to the bezel on the knurled part at the 7 o'clock position. The acrylic crystal is in good condition having a few small surface marks, the 15 jewel movement is quite clean and will run for intermittent periods.
