An early twentieth century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial positioned to 6 o'clock, the case hallmarked Birmingham 1916, the unsigned movement with Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter 49 mm.

Movement is currently functioning, the movement does bear signs of previous repair and would be ameliorated by a service, the case bears signs of wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing the majority of which appear to be superficial and should polish out, please be aware there are some light dints around the side of the case and some more pronounced scratches around the case opening aperture, both of the case back and the dust cover, the pendant bow feels quite slack, the dial is shows signs of damage, with some hairline cracks between ten and twelve o'clock, sunken enamel around the second hand and more pronounced damage to the five o'clock position, hands are tarnished with what appear to be light areas of surface rust, glass has a variety of small scratches and could do with a clean, more noticeable is a circular mark on the inside of the glass, perhaps caused by the minute hand.
