Lot Description
A mid 20th century sapphire and split pearl set bar brooch, comprising a central oval sapphire in a millegrain setting bordered to each side by two split pearl terminations. Dimensions: Length - 48mm Width - 7mm.

Condition Report
The brooch is in very good condition commensurate with age and use. The metal is displaying minor scratches and discolouration and would benefit from a polish. The sapphire is quite a weak colour and is displaying some abrasions to the table facets but no chips.
There is a small loop at the top of the central panel which could possibly of held a suspension previously. Weight - 2.5gms.
