A Victorian oval shell portrait cameo brooch depicting the side profile of a young gentleman with archaeological revival mount and outer scroll design border. Length - 60mm, Width - 52mm.

Condition Report
The cameo is in good overall condition commensurate with age and use displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. The shell cameo has become loose in the setting and may need attention at a later date. The side portrait engraving is pleasingly detailed and in excellent condition displaying some minor dirt build up which should clean of easily. The gold mount is also in very good condition. To reverse displays some solder marks and stains - as made. Pin works effectively.
