Lot Description

MURRLE BENNETT - an amethyst set brooch, comprising three collet set oval amethyst in foliate design with outer curved border. Dimensions: 34mm x 17mm. Stamp rubbed.

The brooch is in fair condition. The hinge has been reattached with lots of lead solder, there are slight scratches to all of the border, wear and tear and areas of discolouration. The makers mark is all quite rubbed yet legible, one of the amethysts is chipped and would need attention.
