Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver stamp holder of foliate open work form. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd, also numbered A3971. Width measuring 28 mm, weight 12 grams.

The stamp holder is in a good condition, the hallmarks are slightly rubbed, but are still clear. The solder joins are becoming visible on the lip of both halves of the stamp holder. There is some tarnishing mainly around the joins of the holder. Detailing is very defined with just general wear and tear scratches.
