Condition Report
The card case is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, displaying some scratches, marks and discolouration to the whole along with some minor pitting. The rim of the case is displaying some dents along high areas as well as evidence of the original joining mark. The case itself does not sit flat and is slightly warped. The raised depiction of the Royal Exchange is very finely detailed and the surrounding scrolls and engraving remain crisp, however the engraved cartouche is beginning to blend. There is a small split to the silver to the high embossing along the edge where the building meets the ground. Hallmark and maker's mark are clear and legible.
