The larger vinaigrette has a lot of wear and tear scratches, there is a more noticeable scratch to either side of the vinaigrette. The hinged grill is in good working order. The main hinge is splitting at one end. There are some small dints to different areas of the body. The lid doesn't close completely flush. There are some nicks to the edges of the vinaigrette.

The smaller vinaigrette would benefit from a clean, the hinged grill is a little stiff. There are a lot wear and tear scratches to the whole of the piece. There are nicks to the metal on all the edges of the grill and to the edges of the vinaigrette itself, with a large nick in one area, where someone has possibly  used a knife to open it. . A couple of the corners are a little worn.    The hallmarks on the lid and the bottom are both very rubbed but still legible.
