The gilt interiors are still bright. Both lids close flush. There are general wear and tear scratches in keeping with the age and use of the pieces. There are some small areas of tarnishing. The handle on the coffee pot wobbles slightly. The hallmarks to the bases are rubbed, more so on the tea and coffee pot, but all are still clearly legible. The finial on the coffee pot is 'dipped' backwards slightly. The hinges on the tea and coffee pot are both in good working order. The detailing on all the pieces is quite fine. The teapot has two dents to an area of the bellied part of the body, only one of the dents is clearly visible.
