Condition Report
The teapot shows noticeable heavy wear and also general wear reflective of the age and use. There are general scratches, marks, tarnishing and dints . There are numerous noticeable repairs around the body of the piece including three large repairs with noticeable solder, particularly around the spout and additional pieces being dropped in, this also includes a piece probably to replace a previous crest or engraving to the side of the body. An engraving to likely to have been removed from the other side as there is a loss in definition and the silver feels thin. There is a small tear to the top of the spout. The hallmarks are a little rubbed, particularly the date letter, but clear and legible.
