Lot Description
Four cased silver presentation plates awarded for horse riding, hallmarks to include Richard Comyns London 1972 and London 1974 with makers mark R & D. All four plates are numbered 1006. Diameter 9 inches (23 cm). Gross silver weight 53.44 ozt (1662.32 grams).

Condition Report
All cases are a little worn at the corners, the green case more so than the others. All plates have a certificate with them, certifying the designer, who it was made for and for what achievement, also with one plate there are two photographs of a man on a horse.
All the plates are in a good condition, there are very light surface scratches to the front of all the plates, the detailing on all the plates is all very fine. Two of the plates have areas of tarnishing and discolouration, one more so than the other.
