A 1930's silver caster of oval form, raised above a spread circular foot, pierced detachable lid. Hallmarked A L Davenport Ltd Birmingham 1932. Height measures 8 inches (20.5 cm), weight 5.1 ozt (159 grams).

The caster is in good condition commensurate with age and use displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole along with some discolouration and polish build up. The pierced lid is displaying some dents and pitting to the surface. Hallmark is clear and legible. Maker's mark is a little rubbed but legible.
