A Victorian memorial ring of quatrefoil design with central oval foil back purple stone, flanked by four pearls and four openwork leaf panels with black enamel to the edges, stamped 9ct. (Later shank).

This was probably a brooch or pendant originally with a recent ring shank attached, there is a lot of soft solder visible to the back. Scratches to edges of brooch and centre stone, enamel fairly rough but no chips.
