A 19th century percussion action rifle. The tapered barrel with chequered wooden stock, dolphin striker upon all engraved plate marked "Austin" and engraved shaped trigger guard. 47.5" (120.5cm) long

Condition Report
The butt of the rifle has some scratches and dents to it, the end metal plate on the butt does not fit well. The trigger appears to be intact and working. There is a slight split around the firearm plate and it has been re-glued. The barrel has be polished crudely and has some rust has built up on it. The piece under the barrel that the push rod is attached to is coming away from the barrel. There are signs of wood worm and signs that the rifle may not be correct due to parts not fitting together correctly.
