A garnet and enamel brooch, the Victorian brooch with garnet border and closed back setting, to an adapted engine turned red enamel centre. Length 4.0cm x 3.5cm, weight 20.6g

Condition Report
The brooch is in very good condition commensurate with age and use. The guilloche enamel is in good condition and is a pleasing vivid colour, displaying minor fine lines and pitting to the surface. The garnets are of varying colour and quality, some displaying surface chips and abrasions as well as internal inclusions. Yellow metal mount is displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. Brooch fitting is secure.
