A French emerald, ruby and diamond set brooch, the central oval cabochon emerald bordered with three graduating rows of circular cabochon rubies and round brilliant cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight- 3.79ct Colour- G/H Clarity- VS1/SI1 Dimensions of emerald: 1.9 x 16 x 10cm Dimensions of brooch: 4cm x 3.6cm. In associated box.

Condition Report
The brooch is in good condition. One or two stones are slightly loose and will need the claws tightening. Strong banding can be seen to the emerald, the inclusions affect the light transmission through the stone making it appear opaque. Some inclusions are surface reaching The diamonds are bright and lively. The rubies are well matched in terms of saturation of colour, small inclusions and minor chips can also be seen on some stones The brooch has incurred some minor scratches in keeping with its age and general wear .
