A Belle Epoque diamond and black opal brooch, with a diamond set bow above an oval black opal cabochon bordered with rose cut diamonds and further diamond detail. Dimensions of brooch: 41mm x 16mm.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. The opal is a deep vivid intense blue/black colour. Strong blue and green play of colour is visible through out the stone. The diamonds are quite bright considering their size and cut. Minor scratches and dents can be seen, general wear and tear. The brooch pin and clasp are in good working order.
