The cameo brooch is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. The shell is in good condition displaying minor scratches and fine lines. The central depiction has retained a high level of detail and is in excellent condition displaying only minor stains and abrasion. Metal mount is in good condition displaying minor scratches, marks and tarnishing. Brooch fitting is tight and secure.
