Lot Description
Two brooches, to include an early 20th century ruby and split pearl set double heart design bar brooch, with rope and foliate detail and a late 19th century oval brooch with a central domed panel and overlaid rope detail with an outer scroll detailed border. Total weight - 10.90 grams.

Condition Report
Both brooches are in fair condition. There are scratches and dents to the heart design bar brooch, there are areas of discolouration to the back of the heart detail, the pin is metal and has probably been replaced. The claws to the ruby and split pearls may need to be checked. The late 19th century brooch is in good condition, there are slight scratches and areas of tarnishing to some of the detail. There is a minor dent to the dome, the pin is quite seriously tarnished and may need attention, there is a quite serious file mark to the back outer border.
