An early 20th century opal and diamond set heart shape hinged locket, circa 1900, the central star motif set with an opal cabochon surrounded by eight diamond points in a star design. Weight of locket - 2.51 grams. Length (including suspender) - 2.2cms, Width - 1.3cms.

Condition Report
The pendant is in fair to good condition. There are slight scratches to the locket, in keeping with the age. The opal is in good condition and the outer diamond points are nice and bright, the claws are secure. There is evidence of repair work to the inside of the front panel. The locket opens and closes well.
