A Victorian diamond set oval brooch, comprising five graduated old European cut diamonds each in a star setting with outer twisted rope design border. With vacant back panel. Dimensions: 46mm x 14mm.

Condition Report
The brooch is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, showing general scratches, marks and tarnishing to the whole. The diamonds are well matched in the setting and are bright and lively. Under 10 X magnification one can see small inclusions under the table facets. The rope and cannetille design has retained a high level of detail. Brooch fitting is tight and secure.
